It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but its whitetail time. This past week I’ve seen my first rubs and hard horns. The good news is I’m seeing deer, just not the mature bucks yet. Stay tuned…

Only one of my bucks is hard-horned at this point.  All others still have full velvet.  That’ll change soon though.

Checked cameras last weekend and had two hard horned bucks, both 1.5 year olds.  Big boys should be well on their way now.  Less than a month until the opener, but I’m sure no one is excited…..smile

Rubs usually lead to hard horns, or they do from where I come from!!!!

Just saw a dandy 10 or 12 pt in Edwardsville.  Hard horned.
