As promised, it’s Friday and time to announce the winner!

I so very much enjoyed reading everyone’s comments and appreciate the time you all took to share your mushroom stories. You know me…I could talk about mushrooms forever!

Let’s get all the legal / rule mumbo jumbo out of the way. Each comment was assigned a number based on the order it was entered. For example; the first comment was assigned the number one and so on..  those numbers were then used via a random number generator to pick the winner. I tried putting slips of paper in bowl and letting Willie pick.. but that got a little slobbery and messy. Not mention I think he swallowed a couple of entries.

Sooooo.. sooooooooo.. who won already!

CAMOGIRL!!! Congrats CAMO GIRL!!! Please e mail me your mailing address and I’ll get that book winging it’s way to you.

As you might recall I also promised that I’d pick 5 of the stories to feature on my other blog, Walking with the Wild Woman; those lucky folks are: Adowns99, CamoGirl, Fish62, Mohican, and MossyOak.

Thanks much Heartland friends for playing along   with all the mushroom fun this week. Now wish ME luck - I’m headed out to see if I can’t rustle up a pound or two.
